Ep1 'See Yourself to Heal Yourself'

 So if you're reading this you may be struggling right now with some form of self sabotage or inner feeling of unsettlement. You could be struggling with anxiety issues or low mood, depression, anger irritability lack of confidence, you know a real sense of insecurity which stops you from showing up in the world the way you want to.

Well, let me introduce you to your ego mind. Your ego mind is a part of you that’s been forming since you were born, it's all the fears and insecurities that have collected together to form a self protection mechanism within your own mind.
It's the part of you which is distracted, it's the part of you which is disconnected, it's that little voice inside your own mind which criticizes you and tells you you can't when you can. It tells you, you shouldn't when you should, it tells you you're not good enough, that you'll never be good enough, that you'll never be thin enough, you'll never be pretty enough, or you'll never be smart enough. It's that judgemental voice inside your head, the voice that judges those around you and the voice that really judges you the most.

That all that sounds dreadful doesn’t it? But it doesn’t have to be. You can actually choose to make friends with your ego mind, and you can learn to make it work for you and not against you. After all, it’s really only trying to protect you by keeping you safe in your comfort zone.

You have a True Self which sits behind your ego, this is your wise mind, this is the part of you which is the real you, your soulful self.

I think the easiest way to see your True Self is a part of your soul or a part of your consciousness has split and part of it has come into human form into physical body.

It’s often hard to hear the voice of your True Self because the ego is so loud it completely drowns it out with fear and distraction.

Your ego mind and the negative thoughts it often generates causes you to have a feeling or an emotion. This then turns into a reaction or a behaviour.

When you’re on auto-pilot letting ego do all the thinking for you, you’re unconscious and not aware that your thinking and living from a place of fear, and auto-pilot. Almost soulful blindness.

But when you’re what we call awake and seeing everything as it is, you’re conscious and aware of your ego minds tricks, your thoughts which are often toxic and you can hear the voice of your True Self more loudly.

From this state of mind you can choose how you feel and how you react or respond with regards to your behaviour and beliefs about yourself.
No more self sabotage!
